Where to Find Affiliate Programs

Where to Find Affiliate Programs & How To Choose An Affiliate Program

You can find a list of affiliate programs and affiliate networks on thefreecountry.com's Affiliate Program page at http://www.thefreecountry.com/webmaster/affiliate.shtml
To join an affiliate network or program, simply go to the site and complete their online application form. Some programs will give you instant approval while others require a human to check out your application before it is approved. Once it is approved, you'll be given some HTML code which you can cut and paste into your web page. Note that some affiliate networks and programs will not accept you unless you have your own domain name. If you are planning to earn from your site, you should seriously consider registering your own domain name.

How To Choose An Affiliate Program

How should you choose an affiliate program? My suggestion is not to choose a program according to the payment scheme, but rather according to the kind of people who are likely to visit your website. For example, if you are targeting parents on your site, links to affiliates with educational software, books and the like may generate more revenue than banners that link to web hosting companies. The most important rule of choosing an affiliate program is to know your target audience.

Another point to consider is whether you really want to join every single affiliate program that comes your way. Some studies suggest that sites that make the most money from affiliate programs are affiliates of only a small handful of programs. Furthermore, concentrating your advertisements from one network may allow you to be paid faster. If you advertise for hundreds of different affiliate networks on your site, you may wind up earning only (say) a few dollars per month from each network. If your advertiser's minimum payment amount is higher than what you can earn each month, it may take you a long time before you accrue enough to be paid.

On the other hand, that formula does not necessarily hold true for every site (or every page on your site, for that matter). For example, if your site has a particular theme, and an affiliate network only supports one or two suitable advertisers, you might want to sign up for a few affiliate networks so as to get a greater number of relevant advertisers. After all, advertisements that are relevant to your audience are more likely to be taken up than general advertisements. (What's the point of putting banners from only one affiliate if nobody is going to click them?)
Automated Context-Sensitive Advertising.

One of the latest trends in website sponsorship is to sign up with an advertising network like Google AdSense The advertising network automatically checks your web page and determines the most relevant advertisement for the page. As a result, without much additional effort from you, you get advertisements targeted at the interests of your visitors. As mentioned earlier, targeted ads tend to result in better performance and returns.

Get Started

Advertising revenue is one of the most effortless way to earn money from your site. You merely have to put the banner there and wait for the money to roll in. (Well, okay, not quite. You will still need to have some visitors first before you can make anything.)
Why wait? If you already have a website, let it earn even while you sleep (literally). Every day you let your site "idle" without advertising is a day of lost opportunity.
All the best in your endeavour! Remember also to check out our other article, Increasing Your Affiliate Program Income.

Make Money From Your Website

How to Make Money From Your Website

Now that you've created a website, how do you make money from it? There are at least two ways in which sites can make money:

1.Advertising Revenue

2.Selling Goods and Services

I shall deal with the second case, "Selling goods and services", in another article. In this article, I will address the issue of how your site can actually make money from advertising.

Making Money From Advertising

If you look at many websites, you will probably notice that there are banner advertisements displayed on most pages. If you are a newcomer to the scene, you might think that you must either be a company or that your site must be famous before you can get advertisers, just as it is the case in hardcopy publications.

In reality, anyone with a website can get advertisers. While it is true that if your site is well-known, you may get companies contacting you to offer to advertise on your site, you can get advertising revenue even if you are just starting out and your site is relatively unknown.

The way to do this is to join as an "affiliate" of various sites, either directly, or through an affiliate network. An affiliate network is simply an intermediary where you can select from a variety of advertisers.

Payment Schemes

Before joining any program, you should probably be aware of the different payment schemes available.

1.Pay Per Impression (CPM)

Here, you are paid according to the number of times the advertiser's banner is displayed on your site. The amount you earn is typically calculated based on the number of thousand impressions of the banner (impressions = number of times the banner is displayed), often abbreviated CPM (cost per thousand, with the M being the Latin numeral for thousand). That is, $5 CPM means that you get paid $5 for 1,000 displays of the banner. In general, the amount paid is usually small, but it is easy to earn since everytime a visitor loads the page, you earn. This is known as a "high conversion rate". Needless to say, this method will allow you to automatically earn more if your site attracts a lot of visitors.

2.Pay Per Click (PPC)

When you are paid per click, you are only paid when visitors click the advertiser's banner on your site. The amount paid is usually higher than the pay per impression scheme. Whether you get a high conversion rate here depends on the banner (whether it attracts people to click it), although in general, it has a higher conversion rate than the pay per sale method. A high traffic site will probably enjoy a higher click rate than a lower traffic site, although you will probably get better results if your banners are carefully selected to suit the target audience of your site.

3.Pay Per Sale or Lead

While you will probably get the highest payment rates with this method, it has the lowest conversion rate of the three schemes. You will only earn if your visitors click through the banner and either purchase an item from the advertiser or take some other prescribed action (eg, sign up for a service). Like the Pay Per Click method, you get much better results if you carefully select your advertisers to suit the target audience of your site.

In general, to avoid wasting resources in issuing cheques for very small amounts, advertisers will usually accrue the amount owing to you until it reaches a certain level (such as $25) before they pay you.

Have you bought a $9.99 report - Make $10000/month automated ?

Have you bought a $9.99 report - Make $10000/month automated ?

Have you bought a $9.99 report - Make $10000/month automated ? or something similar ? found it useful ? I highly doubt the possibility. They all are the same. first they talk about how they product will change the way you live then they will show you some payments proof which can be easily created using photoshop. Then comes the readers comments and all of them will say that this product made them thousands within days or even hours and they cant thank the author enough and in the end comes the best part - buy it now and you get massive discounts !! So how are they profiting from you ?? Lets take a look.

The first benefit is that they will ask you to become a member and ask for your email id which later will either be sold or will be used by them for the sole purpose of spamming. Then before they move on to the actual product that you are so much looking forward to they will ask to verify yourself using credit cards which again will either be sold or misused. I have been hearing of so many cases of ID theft nowadays. Then they will offer you some more products that ONLY YOU are going to get just because you just conveyed your credit cards details and email id !!!
In the end when you actually reach the product you find that it is a complete waste of time, money and valuable personal information. And half of them never even try the product or method that they have bought. LAZY…

A lot bloggers are of the opinion that while you should share some secrets with your readers while aiming to create that perfect blog with lots of readers and subscribers you must never share your real secrets of making a fortune online. This is according to me not the correct perception however my saying so is not going to bring about a change in the blogging world. There are already a lot bloggers who have understood the importance of great and quality content and how it can actually help in increasing their earning potential, there are still a lot of bloggers who believe that sharing all your secrets can bring in competition and reduce your potential.

What they fail to realise is that in the webmasters world, the more the better. The entire industry benefits from it. You get fresh ideas and better resources. Many of them develop new products and offer services that actually help us in reducing our work pressure. A lot of bloggers are actually making all the money in the world just because they are sharing all their secrets and their readers are loving them for it. In a way this is increasing their traffic by leaps and bounds and traffic is the real key to success specially one that actually converts. So how are they able to convert them ?

Thats very easy to answer, since they are actually providing useful content to their readers which are tried and tested there is a level of trust and confidence that is built which is most important in any kind of business whether online or offline. People really believe in what they have to say and have faith that they will not deceive them as a result of which they readily accepts their proposals and are willing to buy the product/services that they have to offer.

Trust is the basic ingredient that builds their entire network and business model. And in order to gain the trust of your readers it is important that you never deceive them in any way. Making false claims like I can help you to make thousands of dollars doing nothing and everything will be automated is nothing but crab.

If there is actually a system like that which is making you thousands of $$ automated then why the hell are you selling it for $9.99 or $39.99 or something similar ?? It really beats me how so many people actually fall for them and because of which they are motivated to rinse and repeat the entire process. How many of you have actually bought them and have them found useful ? Please answer with a link in the comment so I can buy it too but no $9.99 offers please.

What would Seth Godin Do ?

What would Seth Godin Do ??

So i believe a lot of you came here wondering that this is something to do with Seth Godin… Well you can say upto a certain extent it is. So what is it that Seth Godin is going to do and about what ?

Actually this is a wordpress plugin which uses cookies to distinguish between your old and new visitors coming to your site and displays them a custom message that can be altered at will. So why is it names so ? Thats because it is the brainchild of none other than Seth Godin himself however the pluginhas been designed by Richard K. Miller who rightfully named it after him.

So what this plugin exactly do is show a new custom message each time a visitor visits your blog/site for the first time which gives you a great opportunity to tell them about what your blog/site is all about and how it is going to benefit them. The default message box shows the following message “If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting”which can be altered to anything you like. i think it will be much better to use this opportunity to tell your visitors what your blog is all about and how is it going to benefit them, tell them something about yourself and try to connect with them in a more personal way. the message is displayed only times and you can easily change the location and time span both to suit your needs. i think 5 times is a bit more than necessary and hence you should reduce it to 3 times and choose a location that dosent irritates them. you know some visitors feel really angry with such dialogue boxes and hence it should be non-intrusive.

There is also a new version of the plugin which also allows you to show a message for returning visitors. the plugin works with cookies enabled and hence those who without this support will continuously see this message - new visitor - and it might piss them off !!

All in all this is a great plugin as it opens a new gate for communicating with your readers and gives you a chance to make them understand what exactly it is that you are trying to do or prove with your blog. It can also help in increasing your rss count giving you more exposure.

Craving for Attention ? You are not Alone !!

Craving for Attention ? You are not Alone !!

Lets face it - everyone likes attention and it matters little how they get it. There are some like the famously infamous socialite Paris Hilton who seems to be making the headlines for doing nothing but what she does best !! Everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame and are willing to do just about anything to get what they want - ATTENTION.

So we as bloggers need it too. We want more webmasters to join rss feeds, more readers, more subscribers and more webmasters joining the affiliate programs that we promote !! So let us today ponder on some of the ways of how we can create the buzz and get what we want..

- If you are not in a hurry and like to follow the footsteps of the tortoise who won the race against the hare then all you have to do is to write quality content and submit to social bookmarking sites. If you are good enough then you will get noticed.

- If you are in a bit of a hurry and cant wait for success to come to you then you must go to it. The most popular way of getting attention is writing controversial articles igniting sparks in the minds of people and compelling them to talk about it. Sort of wild fire which spreads on its own with no help of anyone. All you need is a hot topic and even hotter content.

If you are nice guy and dont like getting into controversies then there a lot of others ways to like -
- the first and the most important part of your blog is the title / heading of your post. If that is not compelling enough then half of the readers will never visit the page in the first page, so work on it well and create a heading thats makes them ask questions like what is he talking about or what is that or something similar. you must raise their curiosity and then satisfy it with the content in your post. Trust me they will come back for more in future.

- using images in your post is another great way of keeping the interest of the reader intact. The moment they visit your page the first thing that they notice is a descriptive image that matches the theme of your post and further increases their hunger for reading. A lot of bloggers are using them successfully and I am myself thinking of starting on it.

- Its of no use if the readers visits the blog and leaves within minutes so you must make them to stay. Breaking your posts and articles into sub points always works because people really dont have enough time these days to go through the entire entry before realising that it does not contain what they were expecting. Small points will reduce their burden and they will continue to read.

- Another good way of raising the curiosity of your readers is asking questions in the heading like the one I have used in my heading and then answer it yourself. They love it when someone answer their queries. So if they dont have any queries then raise them and then answer them.
Old philosophy - something on the lines of ” In order to sell your product you must first create the demand for it and then sell it ”

Same rule applies here. So what are you waiting for.. Go find yourself some interesting topics and start writing..

Important Tips

Taking Negative comments Positively

Lets face it, when we are talking about something and people oppose us none of us really like the guy opposing us and we call him names like moron or something similar (sometimes worse) When someone disagrees with our line of thoughts and is quite open about it ( sometimes way to open and even outrageous ) we really dont take it in a good spirits always, do we ?

I once read somewhere something on the lines of - when someone opposes you consider it as positive sign that you are on the right track !!

Talking about blogs and comments they have been together since the beginning of this world and are kinda inseparable. You must have seen a lot of blogposts with negative comments and readers disapproving of what the author has written but there are a lot of blogger who simply delete such comments almost instantly like they were waiting for this very moment and learn from it.

So how does negative comments help us and how can we take it in a more positive way or lets say in good spirits is what we will be discussing today.

New and Different Point of View

When someone disagrees with your thoughts they are usually based on some observation and thinking and most readers are kind enough to present their side of the story and thoughts in the comments. So now you have a new point of view to ponder over. Maybe they are right and you are wrong or vice versa but both of you should take it in a healthy way. If you are wrong then accept it - you wont get hurt. And if you are right and then try to convince them further with more details - they wont bite you for opposing.

So it is really the beginning of a healthy relationship between you and your reader and helps you improve your writing skills as well. Remember that each and every visitor is equally important.

Increases Involvement

Thats so true. When someone disagrees with your line of thoughts that means he has gone through the trouble of reading your post carefully and and has done his homework - its a positive sign that atleast there is one reader that is following up on your posts. It also increases involvement of other readers who start taking interest in the conversation and try to evaluate both of you trying to understand who is perhaps more correct in his approach.

It also increases your traffic

Controversies increases publicity but fruits are short lived

Though it may sound like a good idea to purposefully create such posts and write up stories that are controversial and questionable just reap the benefits of more attention of other bloggers in the related community but many us forget that such traffic and attention is often short lived. Soon readers realize the story behind the scenes and frown upon such bloggers thinking that all he can do write crabs and take names providing no value to the community. There are alot of examples of such infamous personalities in Hollywood who are not doing anything good but still make it to the front page when they attend some party where no one can stand on properly !!

Value and purpose is all that can alone lead you to the heights of success where there are very few competitors.

Visitors away from your blog

Headlines that drives Visitors away from your blog

A couple of days ago I read a post on copyblogger that is authored by Brian who is also behind teaching sells that talks about creating membership sites thats really do works. inspite of the challenging aspects of his demanding schedule I just dont know how he gets enough time to add such valuable content to his blog consistently !!

In this post he talks about how headlines that sound unreal can ave a negative impact on your traffic. How many times have we read headings like “how to get 10000 subscibers in a single day” or “how to make million dollars in a week automated”or something similar that is obviously almost impossible (considering there are exceptions everywhere  )

So the point is that in our effort to atttract more visitors to out blog and write something that compels the readers to click on our link we sometimes overdo things and makes all the difference. A lot of visitors will simply frown upon such content and never visit your blog. The only readers that will visit your blog actually will be those who are unaware of the truth behind such claims and are quite new in their search for the ultimate guide to doing this until they reallise that its now a child’s play and everyone has to do it the hard way which takes time and effort and most important patience. Yes, one thing I have learnt from bogging that made a difference in my life is patience and I am proud to be a blogger.

Coming back to the point even if you are able to pull in traffic they will soon realise the truth behind all those false claims and will never ever come back to your blog even if you are actually right in your claims in your very next post. Now dont start thinking that there are so many people on the surface of earth and it really dosent matter if we lose some of it. Traffic once lost is lost forever and it works like grapewine. Similarly when you write good content and fulfill your promises it is appreciated and people talk about it in the blogosphere, in forums, social sites and through their own blogs.

Instead of making false claims try to be more realistic in your approach and only claim what you can achieve.

You can read the rest of the post right here in more detail as there are some more valuable tips that will surely make a difference in your appraoch towards blogging and how it works.

Affiliate Program

Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is very famous these days. It has been in the internet from long time but because of web2.0 it has gaining more popularity. Affiliate marketing is nothing but you can as an intermediate between the buyer and the company and sell the products. As a middle men you receive commission for the products which you have sold.

You can sell the products by using your Blog or website. You can also use email marketing campaigns to sell the products. recently I have seen many people using the PPC advertising to sell the products. You can get a commission ranging between 1% to 80%. I have seen some products where you can get around 80% commission. There are many people who are earning $10K+ per month. if you have good ideas you can easily earn more money.

Earn money using widget bucks

Earn money using widget bucks

Recently I had seen many people using Widget Bucks to earn money. Many people are placing the widgets on their websites. The problem with WidgetBucks is that it makes the websites very slow. It takes a lot of time to load the widget. Other than that everything else is fine. They have got proprietary contextual, analytics and relevancy algorithms which makes the widgets display accurate results based on the website content. you can easily get around $3-$7 eCPM with Widget Bucks.

You can see Product listings from more than 25,000 merchants which also includes trusted brands. The payouts are made monthly. You have got more than 300 configurations with 256 color schemes. So you can easily choose the best color configuration that suits your site.

Popular Affiliate networks

Affiliate marketing

There are many affiliate marketing networks. But many of you may be confused with number of companies available in the internet. I’ll try to tell some facts about some of the top affiliate marketing sites. So that you can decide which marketing network to choose.

ClickBank affiliate marketing network - This is the most popular affiliate network in the internet. When I entered this field this is the first company which I have chosen. It has got lots and lots of products. You can get commissions up to 80%. This would be wonderful for you. But yes you can easily make lot of money with Clickbank. But the problem with ClickBank is that they do not have all the countries in their sign up list. You can use your website or email campaign or a PPC program to sell the products.

Earning Customer Trust Online

Some Steps to Earning Customer Trust Online

Nobody said it was going to be easy.............

Keeping in theme with my recent article about ingredients to surviving in online business, let's talk about earning customer trust.

A recent survey found that 81% of consumers don't trust small online businesses.

You cannot survive in online business if your customers do not trust you. If they don't trust you, they will never buy and you will fail. It's that simple. Unfortunately, earning customer trust online is not an easy task, especially when there are so many bigger brands out there where they can easily purchase most of the items they are looking for. That brings me to the first item.

1. Branding

Branding is more than just marketing. It's a way to establish your business as a familiar face, and familiar faces become trusted more than strange ones. The more branding you are able to accomplish, the more trust you will gain.

2. Make yourself appear larger.

This is really just an extension of branding, but you also have to make sure that brand is conveying as professional an image as possible. This means a good-looking logo, a nice usable site design, and maintaining a solid reputation.

3. Design

Like I just said (and have numerous times in the past), site design is crucial. That is, if you want customers to think of you in a trustworthy and credible light.

Why should a customer take a chance on a small unknown site if it is presented in a sloppy and difficult-to-use manner? They can just as easily find a competitor's site that looks better and spend their money there.

4. Reputation

I have talked about this numerous times too. You have to maintain a positive reputation if you want customers to trust you. People can Google your business and they most likely will if they've never heard of you.

This is why you have to periodically find out what people are saying about you online and do your best to counter any negativity out there. Don't hide from customer reviews.

Of course you also don't want to create a bad reputation on your own. You could do this inadvertently through social media, blog posts etc. Just think about what you're saying before you attach your name (especially the name of your business) to something you're posting online.

5. Security and Privacy

Customers need to feel secure at your site, and you need to take measures to earn their trust in this area as well.

This means privacy policies. We've run a couple videos on this, so check those out.

Customers also like to see SSL certificates. It makes them feel safer on your site. Read this article from Stoney deGeyter to see what other privacy and security concerns customers have.

6. Testimonials

Testimonials are a form of marketing, and can be an effective one. Besides that though, they represent your business as one that has satisfied customers in the past.

If you can get recognizable names to vouch for your business, that's even better. Again, customers find familiar faces more trustworthy than strange ones.

7. Humanize Your Business

Like Wayne Hurlbert says, "People buy from other people they know and trust". This is why it is a good idea to humanize your business.

Don't be shy about including photos and bios of your staff on your site. Maintaining blogs is another good idea, but humanize those too. Don't just fill them with press releases. Make them fun, and reflect the writers' personalities. Show people that your business is run by flesh and blood people and is not just some cold robot entity who's after their money.

Building trust on the Internet is no easy feat, but it's not impossible. The more trust that you earn, the higher your sales will climb, so it is in your best interest to do everything you can to get it.

Do you have any other suggestions for building trust online?

More Tips of Adsense

Google Adsense: Understanding the Google Adsense Report

When you log into your Google Adsense account, you are automatically taken to the page where you can view all your Adsense activity. On the Reports tab, you'll see "Today's Earnings." This is the approximate amount you have earned today in your Google Adsense account. Earnings are not final at this point and could be adjusted for invalid clicks or fees.

It's interesting to look at the breakdown. As you can see, Adsense for Content, which refers to the targeted ads appearing on the pages in which you have written content, is listed first. Here you will see the number of page impressions listed in the first column. While a page impression is generally the same as a page view, that is not always the case. For a more detailed definition of a page impression, see Google Adsense support, click on Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.

Next, you'll notice the number of clicks. This refers to the number of times "your ads" were clicked on.

Page click through rate or CTR is in the next column shown as a percentage. It represents how often a visitor to your page clicked on an ad. The biggest adsense sites get a click through rate up to seven per cent.

Page CPM stands for effective cost per thousand impressions. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of page impressions in thousands.

Don't be intimidated by these statistics. The bottom line, your earnings, is what really counts. As you become more familiar with Google Adsense, statistics will become like second nature.

Adsense Secrets

Wanna know some Adsense secrets?

Do a search for Adsense secrets and you will be bombarded by a myriad of ads by telling you that they, and they alone have all the answers to making lots of money with Adsense.
window.google_render_ad();

And I say bully to all of them. I repeat: nobody has all the answers and there are no "Adsense secrets" per se!

The only thing you need to find out all there is to know about Adsense is a search engine and a bit of common sense. There are literally hundreds of forums where you can pick up all the information you need, as well as hundreds of articles that have been written on the subject of Adsense.

All the answers are out there for you to find it you will put in a little bit of work. If you buy any of the ebooks available out there, you might find one little nugget of information that you may not have seen anywhere else, but I promise you: everything is out here on the Internet - all you have to do is search for it. Here are some of the search terms that I personally have used with great results:

What I can tell you from my own experience is this:

1. Ads at the top of the page and on the left of the page perfom better than any other ads. (Take a look at the "heatmap" from the Google link below)

2. Ads without background colour and borders perfom better than ads within borders with background colour.

3. Ads within content pages perform better than any other ads.

4. A search box on every page gives you another chance for earning Adsense income.

5. Your link at the top of the ad should be blue like a normal link, the ad should be black, and the url should also be black so that it blends in with the ad copy. That makes the link stand out and gives you a better chance of someone clicking on it.

Adsense Tips

Adsense Free Report How to Increase Your Adsense Earning Levels

For webmasters wanting to make money with Adsense from their websites, Adsense can generate substantial income. While many are struggling to earn some good money from their Adsense sites, others are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from placing Adsense ads on their web pages. What makes these webmasters different from the others is that they have experimented to find techniques that work for the highest adsense earning rates.

The ones who have done well with Adsense have some useful tips to help those who would want to venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted quite a lot of earnings in the past and are continuing to do so. Here are five proven ways for you to improve your Adsense earnings.

1. Concentrate on one format of Adsense ad.

The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280), shown on this page. This format tends to result in a higher click through rate (CTR). Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense ads but as long as these are valid clicks, then it will all be to your advantage.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads.

Choose a colour that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea of blending the colors is to make the Adsense ad look as if it is an integral part of the web page. Again, This will result in more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Remove the Adsense ads from the bottom of the page and put them at the top.

Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed at the difference that different Adsense placements can make when you see your earnings.

4. Use the same font colour for the google_color_url and google_color_text - you will see these in your ad code.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the web pages using SSI (server side included) applications.

Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as "adsense text", and upload it to the root directory of the webserver. Then, using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to create pages on their website. These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands in Adsense earnings on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because they fit the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that readers will be viewing already.

Note also that there are many other Adsense sites sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making your site stand out from the others. Every click that visitors make is a point for you, so make your Adsense pages attractive to entice your visitor to read on.

Tips given by those who have boosted their Adsense earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have worked wonders for some, maybe they can help you too. Try them out on your website and see the difference. If others have done it successfully, you have nothing to lose in trying it out for yourself.

Make Money From Readers' Letters

An Extra Stream of Income for the Freelance Writer

Readers’ letters, which appear in most newspapers and magazines, can be an extra form of income for both the beginner and experienced freelance writer.

Why Write Readers’ Letters?

Readers’ letters are a quick and easy way to earn money and win prizes. You have the satisfaction of sharing your opinions, the bonus of winning prizes and the knowledge that, if you write letters regularly, there’s always something that might be published, whatever else might be happening with the rest of your freelance writing.

Letters are ideal to fit around the rest of your writing projects. Often, creating a letter in a short time can keep you in the writing habit when things are tough. You might be struggling with a novel, but a half-hour break to put together a letter to a newspaper or magazine can be enough to refresh and revitalize your work.

Readers’ Letters are the perfect way for a beginner writer to see their name in print. Most people are capable of putting together a short piece of writing on something that interests them. Add to this the possibility of winning cash or a prize, and this is the perfect first writing gig.

How to Compose a Readers’ Letter

Choose a publication which interests you, at least to start with. This way, your enthusiasm will shine through and you’re less likely to make factual errors. Once you’ve had a few letters published in familiar journals, you can look to expand your portfolio.

Have a good look at the letters page of your chosen magazine. What’s the average word count of the letters? Do readers write in to discuss previous articles, exchange news and opinions or just write about anything that interests them? Stick to the general style and you have more chance of being chosen by the editor.

Remember, editors like to encourage readers to share their views. If you can write a letter which will encourage others to respond, whether they agree or disagree with your views, the editor will be more likely to print your submission.

Readers' Letter Dos and Don’ts

Do come across as a genuine reader. This isn’t the place to write in on your headed ‘freelance writer’ notepaper. Editors like to think they’re hearing from members of the public.

Do accompany your letter with a photograph if possible. Images brighten up the page and increase your chances of publication.

Don’t be tempted to invent details about yourself or your family. Remember, a friend or colleague could be reading your words within weeks.

Don’t feel you have to be insincere in your praise of the magazine. A little controversy can be good and instigate reader discussions.

Don’t include a stamped addressed envelope as you would with a freelance submission. You’re unlikely to receive a response, unless through the pages of the publication.

Do submit your letter by email if possible. Not only do you save on postage, but if your letter is topical, it reaches the editor sooner for inclusion in the next available issue.

Beyond the Readers’ Letter

Once you’ve notched up a good few published letters, you can expand your horizons. Browse the racks of magazines at a large news store and take a look at the prizes your letter could win. Seek out publications you wouldn’t normally read and see what’s on offer.

Swop magazines with friends. This gives you a bigger range of possible markets. Read the magazines at doctor’s surgeries and libraries, opportunities are everywhere. You can always note brief address or website details if you can’t take the magazine home.

Make Extra Money Fast and Easy

Making a Few Hundred Extra in Cash Is as Easy as Making a List

Your earning capacity is only limited by the scope of your imagination. While none of these suggestions will make you a millionaire overnight, they may be just the push you need to earn enough for that weekend getaway you've been putting off.

Selling Your Extra Items

Studies show the average person has over $1200 in sellable items sitting around the house. You'd be surprised what might be valuable to someone else. An old Hallmark Christmas ornament your mother in law gave you could fetch $100 on online auction sites. That designer sweater that never really was your style might be exactly what someone else is looking for. With a digital camera, an Internet connection, and a few hours on a Sunday afternoon, you can pad your pockets with next month's grocery money.

Use your contacts. Make a list of items you wouldn't mind parting with, or services you have to offer and send a mass e-mail to everyone on your mailing list. An old desk, or spare time to walk a neighbor's dog while they're at work may seem trivial to you, but may be priceless to someone else. By sending out the word that you're enterprising, people will feel more comfortable approaching you if you have something they're interested in.

Cutting Cost Is Earning Money

Do a careful review of your bills and look for unnecessary purchases. Everyone is guilty of it, you sign up for a package for some service that you actually could live without. Start with your phone bill. Odds are, your needs have changed since you originally selected your plan. Can you cut back that text message package? Do you really need 2000 minutes? Do you travel enough to necessitate a National Roaming Plan?

Cutting even $5.00 a month is a $60.00 a year savings. $60.00 is a semi-fancy dinner out. Check out your cable package, memberships to any clubs, and other expenses that have become habit that maybe you could do without. Figure up the numbers on those fancy coffee drinks, it might be cost effective to buy an elaborate coffee maker and do it yourself. Over time, if you come out ahead, you've earned money.

Provide a Service for Extra Funds

There is no shame in accepting compensation for a good deed. If you live in a metropolitan city, consider putting an ad on Craigslist or a similar site, offering house sitting services such as daily mail collection or plant watering for people who are out of town. While you're listing your items for sale online, put a notice up on the office bulletin board letting co-workers know you're doing some listing and offer to list their items as well. You can charge 10% of the sale for your time, and help your office mates get rid of some old clutter.

Capitalize on Your Strengths

What you take for granted may be someone else's weakness. Make a list of skills you possess, subjects you're strong in, or talents you've honed. Decide how you could share your craft with others, either by providing lessons or tutoring and start advertising. A flyer in the local community center offering your skills as a math tutor or offering to cut a neighbor's yard will not only bring in revenue, but introduce you to potential friends in your area.

How to Make Money Fast

Tips on Earning Extra Cash in the Next Few Days

How can you make some fast money? Here are some tips on making fast money ethically and legally. Any one of these tips should help you make some quick cash. Before jumping into these money-making tips, here are a couple things to keep in mind.

First, these tips are aimed at helping you make money fast. They are NOT going to make you rich. One or two tips should earn you an extra $50-100 over the next week. Implement all the tips, and you could see a couple hundred dollars added to your bottom line. But do not expect quick riches.

Second, you need some planning and a few days to work with. That planning should include ways to start saving money.

If you are in a situation where you need quick cash today, then you're in a crisis -- and you probably need to borrow money from friends, relatives, a bank, or (last resort) a fast cash outlet. This article is aimed at those who have at least a few days (preferably a week) to work with.

1. Offer Seasonal Work to Your Neighborhood and/or Surrounding Area

Use your time off from your main job (which will probably be your evenings and weekends) to offer your seasonal labor services to your neighbors and, time-permitting, residents in close-by neighborhoods. Seasonal work includes raking leaves, mowing lawns, or shoveling snow.

The best way is to blanket your target neighborhood with 200-400 flyers, offering your services for an appropriate amount per lawn, driveway, etc. depending upon its size and the amount of work involved. Make sure your contact information is on the flyer. To expedite results, you can grab your rake (or shovel or lawn-mower) and just go door-to-door, offering your services directly.

If this is "beneath you," consider how seriously and quickly you need the money. If you need money fast, this is a great way to do it.

If it's STILL "beneath you," then TEAM UP with a neighborhood teenager. You can be the one to distribute the flyers and take the phone calls. Your partner can then do the actual labor - based on appointments you set from the people calling in response to the flyer. The two of you then split the money.

2. Call a Local Contractor

Find a local contractor and see if you can hire yourself out as a day laborer. This is a particularly viable option, if you're the "handy-man" type. There are probably quite a few contractors in your area looking for day laborers to help them build and/or repair houses, decks, fences, etc.

3. Sell Some Stuff

Go through your house, attic, garage, etc. and pick out EVERYTHING that you are willing to part with. Then, depending on the weather and time of year, put signs up around the community that announce your yard sale.

If you have more time, go to eBay, register, and list the items online. Mark Joyner, a bestselling author and co-founder of Guerilla Marketing Network, says to "pick 40 of your items" no matter how "silly or seemingly worthless they are." Then, review a few books and articles on effective sales writing and marketing and (based on that knowledge) "create eBay pages to sell every one of those products."

If you have the ingredients, try baking a bunch of cookies - and then call some businesses in your area to see if you can sell the cookies to their employees during the lunch hour.

4. Offer to Distribute Stuff

Contact your local newspaper to see if they have need for a neighborhood distributor. If so, you're in luck.
Don't stop there, though. Use your phone book and/or the local Chamber of Commerce to research businesses (retail or restaurant being the best) that market to the general community. Call them up and offer to distribute flyers for them -- for a price.

BONUS TIP: See if you can combine Tactics 1 and 4 (handing out flyers for yourself AND for these businesses - at the same time).
The above tips should get you started on making fast cash. However, you need to step back and look at your overall money situation. Better planning will enable you to make even greater money in the long term. And long-term earnings is (or at least should be) your financial objective.

Set up a Money Making Blog

Set up a Money Making Blog in Some Steps

Blogging is big business these days and if you are looking for a quick way to start earning a few bucks online then having your own blog is a must.

There are two main types that I would recommend having a look at - Wordpress (for the more advanced among you) and Blogger.com (for beginners)

A wordpress blog is definitely the better of the two because you can actually control the design, entries and all the plugins that come along with it but if you have very little background in using the internet or HTML code you may want to hire someone to set it up for you.

If you want to do it yourself I suggest starting by getting a Blogger.com account for free. Blogger.com is owned by Google and offers some great features that are easy to set up. Plus anything owned by the largest search engine company in the world is worth checking out.

Here are the steps to setting up a Blogger.com blog of your own.

1. First of all log online and go to blogger.com.

2. Find the orange arrow that says “Create your blog now” and click on it.

3. Enter a user name and password, along with the name of your blog and your email address. Write down your user name and password.

Try and use the same user name and password you use for other things. Your password should contain at least 2 letters and the rest can be numbers.

4. Click “Continue”

5. Next enter a title for your blog such as “All About Golf” and a blog address. The address will be part of the web address for your blog.

For example, if you type “allaboutgolf” your blog address would be allaboutgolf.blogspot.com. That’s the address you’ll give to anyone who wants to visit your blog.
Choosing a name that relates to the theme of your blog is a good idea.

6. Now you will choose a template which is how your blog will appear. Whatever template you select you can change it later without losing any content so don’t worry if you are not 100% sure you like it at this stage.

7. Click “Continue,” and Blogger.com will create your blog.

And there you have it, 7 simple steps on how to build a blog!!
Once you have finished these steps simply click on the “Start Posting” button and go ahead and write something. You can write anything you want and then delete it at any time so just give it a shot and get used to how everything works.

You will see 5 icons above the box where you type your blog post. B is for bold, I is for italic and so on.
All you do is highlight the text you want to change and then click the B or I etc and the effect will automatically be done for you. You can also insert graphics and hyperlink text to each post.
You do not need to get too fancy at first. Just practice adding some good content to each post by typing your thoughts. You can preview each post before you publish it which allows you to go back and make changes as needed.

Once you are happy with what you see then click on “Publish Post” button and Blogger will publish your post on the internet for you.
After your post is published you can click on “View Post” and see what your visitors will see. The website address for this blog post will be in your status bar if you want to refer people to this specific page.

Try and make blogging fun but remember you are also trying to create financial freedom here so keep looking for new ways of monetizing it.

This is your chance to easily put your thoughts on the internet and Blogger.com is really helping out here by doing all of the technical stuff. You can play around with your Dashboard and learn all of the various functions you have at your disposal.

This is obviously just a quick overview on how to build a blog and there is so much more you can do which I am unable to detail in a single article. So have a play about with Blogger.com, get used to how everything works and then maybe consider moving on to Wordpress and really concentrate on using that piece of software to start generating a good income.

Guide on Easy Profit Blogging

Guide on Easy Profit From Blogging

In this article I want to give you 5 simple blog tips that can make a real difference to your business.

We will look at some of the basics of blogging, where you can find free blog templates, and a few other nuggets that will make your life that little bit easier and far more profitable.

1. Pick Out A Good Template

The most popular blogging platforms used today are Blogger.com and WordPress. Both of them offer many different templates for free that you can quickly use to set up your blog.
It is to your advantage to pick a blog template that is easy for you to work with, matches the theme of your website (if you have one), and gives a general look and feel that visitors will be comfortable with.

You can Google search the words “free blog templates” to find millions of websites offering you more choices if you need them.

2. Be Consistent

The biggest mistake that people make when they blog is that they don’t do it on a consistent basis. I cannot stress how important it is that whatever you choose for your blogging schedule you be consistent in doing it. You do not have to look very long to find literally millions of orphaned blogs on the Internet today.

Because it is very easy for people to start a blog they initially get all excited without realizing how much actually goes in to making it a successful business.
Blogging can be very hard work, so it will be important to your success that you consistently stick with it.

My suggestion when you first start out is to try and post a new blog every day for at least the first month (if not the first 2 months) and then every 2-3 days thereafter. You do this so that you get visitors used to coming and reading your content as well as getting search engines spidering your blog on a consistent basis.

Eventually you can settle into a schedule that might just be a couple of times a week but that will really depend on the theme of your blog and the type of content that you offer.

3. Create A Buzz

Number three in my top blog tips is to make sure you are offering fresh, entertaining, controversial, thought-provoking content that will create a buzz and possibly go viral.
You will be working hard to attract visitors to your blog and your goal should then be to get them coming back and bringing their friends.

4. Keywords Are Massively Important

Today with the number of websites and blog content available on the Internet you have a better chance to be read if you target, primary keywords in your blog articles.

You want to choose your primary keyword and put that as close to the front of the title of your post as possible. You also want to include it in your introduction and closing paragraph and make the keyword font bold if possible.

As you write your post try to use variations of the keyword phrase and make them sound natural throughout the rest of the article.

What you are doing when you do this is practicing basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques that most bloggers miss. You will find that your various blog posts will begin to show up on page 1 of search engines such as Google and Yahoo when you lay your blog articles out this way.

5. Don’t Forget To Hyperlink

Another basic blogging technique that people miss out on is hyperlinking keyword phrases in their post back to sales pages of products they sell. If your goal is to create financial freedom and make money with your blog the article itself is an excellent place to do that.

Your visitors will notice your page as they come to it, but then they will be drawn to the content. You stand a better chance to make a sale by hyperlinking back to the sales page in the blog article itself, than you do plastering banners all over the top and down the side of each page.
Use these 5 basic blog tips to become a more accomplished and profitable blogger.

Make Money From Video Blogging

Make Money Easy Way From Video Blogging

One of the great things about blogging is that it is an interactive way for you to get your thoughts out on the Internet to millions of potential readers and customers. And a popular way that blogging has progressed recently is in the form of audio and video on your blog and within your posts.

People love to be entertained and you just need to look at sites like Youtube to realise how popular posting and watching videos has become. They get millions upon millions of hits every single day.

Now I’m not suggesting your blog will automatically get that many hits if you put up a few videos, but it does go to prove that a lot of people prefer watching something than reading words on a page and, done correctly, you will be able to earn yourself some good money from blog videos.

Learning how to create a Youtube type of video is really not that hard and the benefit to you as a blogger is you can create a blog video and add it to a post to make it more entertaining and informative.

Some people do not just like to read a blog post. They want the option of clicking on a link and watching the video and listening to audio. It is becoming important for all bloggers to understand this and move their business up a notch by adding video blogs where relevant.
Because so many products are sold on the Internet today via affiliate marketing, you are beginning to see videos created where you can embed your affiliate ID directly into the video itself and this allows you to add script in your blog post and play videos without actually creating them yourself.

If you consider yourself an amateur videographer you can quickly put together a video that expresses your thoughts about a particular product relating to a blog post that you are doing.

They offer a great online tutorial that teaches you everything from how to start your own video blog, to creating videos, to content ideas and so on.

Another simple thing you can do is become an Internet marketing spy. Look at some of the blogs that your competitors have, and note down things they are doing to use video to build their business.

You do not want copy them verbatim but you can certainly take some of the good things you see from various blogs and implement them into yours to make your own business stronger.
Having a informative video on your blog may be the difference between making a sale or not and you will definately have more chance making the sale than a competitor who does not have a video.

The important thing about video is that you use it to complement what you are currently doing. This does not mean, however, that you have to create a video blog that is 100% video. Just add them as necessary, and make them a part of the overall experience and excitement you are trying to create with your own personal blog.

One last point to bring up is that search engines are now beginning to spider videos. This gives you yet another opportunity to help your blog be found for content that you produce.
By combining video, audio, fresh content, content provided by your readers, graphics, banners, and so on, you are providing a totally enhanced experience to your visitor.

Having a video blog, or adding blog videos, is just one more way to potentially increase your income and work towards your financial freedom. Plus it can be a lot of fun for both you and your visitors.

Easy Ways To Make Money From Blog

Some Easy Ways To Make Money From Blog

Creating blog revenue is simply a matter of properly setting up your blog with various income producing products and programs, and then getting as many new and repeat visitors as possible to view your pages on a consistent basis.

So here are five easy ways for you to begin generating a blog revenue.

1. Google Adsense

The first thing I want to talk about is setting up your blog to offer the Google Adsense affiliate program.

If you have a blogger.com blog, putting Adsense on to it is very easy. If you are not a member of the Google Adsense program you will need to apply for it first. Just go to the Google homepage, click on the advertising programs link (bottom left) and follow the instructions for setting up Adsense.

Once you are approved you can add different block sizes of ads to each post just by clicking on a couple of buttons. This is something you will want to play with in your blogger.com account when you are setting up your blog and when you are posting various articles to it.

If you use another form of blogging platform, such as WordPress.com, there are plug-ins that can be installed that will instantly add Google Adsense ads to various locations on your blog including your header, sidebar, footer, and in the body of each post.

The Adsense revenue that you earn is paid each time a visitor clicks on one of your ads. This can range from a few cents per click to as high as several dollars per click depending on your niche.
Over the course of a month this passive form of revenue can add up to hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

2. Banners

Another good way to make money with your blog is to add banners to various affiliate programs that you can join for free.

The key here is to join affiliate programs that match the theme of your blog. For example, do not put cooking banners on a music blog.

You can join affiliate programs and be assigned an ID number that is coded in each banner that you place on your blog. Each time someone clicks on one of those they are taken to your affiliate webpage, where if they make a purchase you earn a commission.

Banners are great to add to your blog because they add color and excitement as well as give you another form of income when you make a sale.

3. Hyperlink Keywords

A third way to make money blogging is to hyperlink keyword phrases in each blog post back to a sales letter or affiliate page where you are offering a product.
As you get better at doing this you can even upload pictures and hyperlink those pictures back to sales pages.

Clickbank.com is a great place to find affiliate products to sell relating to almost any blog article.
It’s the largest information e-book affiliate program in the world and once you become a Clickbank affiliate you will have access to thousands of potential products that can earn you money on each sale.

4. Sell Advertising Space

Number four in my blog revenue tips is selling text link advertising to other bloggers or websites.

If you do not want to, or don’t have time to find people to sell to individually you can investigate companies such as Text Link Brokers and make money selling text links through them.
Your blog will need to be established before you can start offering this, as potential advertisers will only be willing to pay good money if their ads are going to be seen by a large amount of traffic.

5. Build That List

The final way I want to discuss is building an opt in e-mail list.
By adding a sign-up form to your homepage, and every single other page, you can capture names and e-mail addresses for future follow-ups in an auto responder.

This is a very smart way to make money from your blog because it gives you a way to follow-up with visitors in the future that you would not otherwise have.

You will also hear many experienced marketers keep saying ‘the money is in the list’ and it is estimated that each person on your list should make you, on average, $1 per month so, build your build your list up to 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 and you can see what potential this technique offers!

Ok, so there you have it, my five favorite ways to create blog revenue.
There are many, many more ways to make money with your blog, and as you begin to develop yours it is just a case of implementing the ones with which you are most comfortable.
My advice is to have at least 5 or 6 different income streams set up so that if there are any problems with one of them it’s not going to hugely impact your overall blog revenue.

Concepts of Blogging

Concepts of Profit Blogging

Blogging has recently become a real popular medium online for people just talking and sharing information – in all circles, not just internet marketing. But because of the traffic involved, many marketers have taken the time to get good at blogging, and using blogging to create traffic.

In fact, traffic is the biggest key issue with blogging in addition to getting your sites indexed fast by the big search engines.

So how do you make a profit with blogging?

Well, the first thing I am going to say is that if you are not making a profit anywhere else online, it is unlikely you will begin to make a profit with blogging. You see, blogging is just a tool, just like about everything else online. You still have to understand the basic flow of things online to make a profit. Many people have been online for years and have lots of knowledge and never figure out how to make money, and others have been online for months, and have learned how to do tens of thousands of dollars per month online.

So it has not a lot to do with knowledge and time online, it has a lot to do with getting out there and doing it, and understanding why it works.

So where does blogging fit in? With your traffic! With your seo!

So there are two things – put relevant content on your bolg and update it regularly. Get it indexed, and add new content daily.

The second thing is to use it to get backlinks to your web sites, to you’re your new web pages indexed online. And that is how blogging can best help you.

Making Money From Blog

Making Monthly Income From Blog

Blogging is quickly becoming a good way to make money on the Internet and having an established blog with a large number of RSS subscribers and repeat visitors can be worth a small fortune to you today and can help you towards your ultimate goal of creating true financial freedom.

Here are four good ways you can get paid to blog:

1. PayPerPost

Are you familiar with this company?
PayPerPost.com is a marketplace that brings websites and blogs together and you can get paid to write comments about services, products and websites that you love.

There are people that earn $500 a month or more just writing on projects that are advertised at PayPerPost.com.
Advertisers are willing to pay you for your opinion on various topics and it is as simple as searching through a list of opportunities, making a blog posting, getting your content approved, and then getting paid for it.

2. Contact other blog owners

Another thing you can do is contact blog owners and offer to write content for them. There are plenty of bloggers who just do not have time to keep up with their blogs on a daily or even weekly basis and this is where you can help them out.

Offer to write blog posts of a few hundred words for them on a consistent basis, set up a quick pay page with your PayPal button on it that they can pay you and you are off and running.
With literally millions of blogs available, there is no shortage of potential customers for you.

3. Start a number of your own blogs and monetize them

Another way to make money blogging is to start various blogs of your own on themes that you have an interest in or expertise on. You can take what you know and turn it into a real moneyspinning business.

The way you make money on a blog of your own is to monetize it with various products that people can buy. You can join affiliate programs and put pay per click, pay per lead, and pay per sale products on your blog. Then anytime a person completes the desired response you earn a commission.

Certainly the easiest of all affiliate programs to earn money on is Google Adsense. It is very easy to add javascript to your blog once you are an affiliate for the Google Adsense program and it is completely free to join.

4. Sell advertising space on your blogs

There are many other blog owners and webmasters who would be willing to pay for a text ad or banner on your blog if it is popular and attracts quality traffic.

This is a very easy way to make money once your blog has established itself, because once you place the ad you can set the billing to go on a subscription basis, and every month you get a recurring income for keeping their ad on your blog.

You can also charge different rates depending on the location of the banner. Banners at the top of the page should be charged at a higher rate than a banner on the side or at the bottom because it is one of the first things visitors see when they land on the page.

There is no shortage of ways to get paid to blog whether it be working for other people or starting your own and then setting up another and another.

Blogging has become an exciting industry over recent years and what the future holds in store no one knows. But one thing is for sure - as long as there are blogs, there will be lots of people making good money getting paid to blog.

Bring Traffic to Your Blog

Bring Traffic to Your Blog in Easy-steps

Traffic is the essential element to making money online. Major traffic is what you are going to need to be able to make a full time income using the internet. Here are three easy steps you need to take in order to get major traffic to your blog.

Great content is the first step for bringing major traffic to your blog. Make sure you go to great lengths to make your blog stand out from others in your niche. Let your visitors know how your blog is different and better and what it has to offer that other blogs don’t.

When you offer your visitors great content on your blog, they will most likely return in the future and even spread the word about your blog. Very well written articles designed to help your visitors solve a problem is a good example of great content. ‘How To’ articles are very effective tools for capturing more traffic.

Make sure that your visitors know that they are getting all this content for free. You are going to give out free information that you could easily charge for. Another idea to attract more traffic is to add free weekly or monthly bonuses.

That brings me to the next step on how to get major traffic to your blog. Attract attention.
There are many ways to do this. Submit your articles to the article directories leaving a link to your blog in the authors resource box, make valuable contributions in forums with a link to your blog in the signature box, and social bookmark all of your blog posts.

Another effective way to attract attention to your great content on your blog is to email your peers. Let them know that you just wrote something that his/her visitors may find helpful. They may just put a link on their blog to yours or even mail their list. A good way to do this is to already have a link to one of their posts on your blog. This will make them want to return the favor and make them feel very appreciable.

The third and final step to getting major traffic to your blog is to take massive action. It is imperative that you are adding great content to your blog on a daily basis as well as attracting attention. After a while you will not have to focus too much on attracting attention because your great content will do that for you.

However, I can’t stress enough about how important this last step is. Real action will produce real results. Add great content every day and you will soon start to see your traffic stats go up and up. The more great content you add, the more visitors you will see. Traffic equals dollars. Major traffic equals major dollars. Now get to work!

Affiliate marketing

First step to affiliate marketing

Making money online on Internet is not a very tough way to go but sometimes it is. The best and short way is the one you choose. You can make money online in pennies or you can make money online in big units. For example for starters, making money with AdSense is always best. But problem with AdSense is that you need a lot of patience and time in order to get big amount of money.

On the other hand, you can try affiliate marketing which can bring you big units of money. Affiliate marketing can be done in many different ways. It can be a pay per action, a pay per lead, pay per sale or pay per click. Usually pay per lead affiliate programs and pay per sale, pays more than ppc.

For a quick step, if you want to make some in hurry you can try a combination of affiliate marketing and PPC bidding. You choose a product to promot then join adwords or yahoo PPC and bring traffic to your landing page and let people make the actions and revenue for you.
The other way is a little timy but long term way of making money. Build a website, populate it with content and promote it on search engine. Make it search engine friendly, build some links and start promoting products. As long as you are getting FREE search engine traffic, you are making money more than by using PPC way. Because in SEO way you don’t have to spent anything. All you have to do is a little bit effort and time.

You can try signing up with commission junction, neverblueads, amazon associates, clickbank and azoogle for trying your first step towards affiliate marketing.

PPC can be successful but SEO always does the job in cheap way. Just signup and pick a product and promote it as much as you can to get targeted traffic to your landing pages.
